I planned to go to Italy with EF tours with my school and paid about 800+$ and then I decided it was too expensive and I could find cheaper ways to get to Italy instead of with EF tours, so I cancelled and they should have sent me back 500+$ since the cancellation fee...Read more
In April 2016, I began contacting EF Tours regarding the numerous problems my family encountered on our Japan tour that cost us over $13,000.Their website says their tours are expertly led. However, our Japan Tour Director, S., was utterly incompetent and we found out...Read more
First let me start by saying our tour director was amazing she was very knowledgeable and tried her best to accommodate everybody on the trip. With that being said the trip was a nightmare . Our hotels were far from what was promised , every single night at least half...Read more
Ef Tours Customer Care Review
I sent 2 messages through their website requesting cancellation, sent a letter and then a certified letter. They still have not canceled the trip. It's been 4 months since i first tried to cancel! They take your money quick enough.
EFT Group Cancellation Policy Review
A very dishonest business. Would never deal with them again and strongly recommend against them.
Ef Tours Tour Review
Terrible experience after needing to cancel over a year in advance. I understood about the $250 non-refundable fee, but then they've kept another $300 for cancelling. So, i filed a doctors note and insurance claim only to have it denied. They are preying on the education system for extreme monetary gain. Don't book.
Bad Service Review
Left stranded for 4 hours with luggage this includes myself and 3 other females. Ef tours blamed us for being in the rit location and that its no big deal. Yet we missed the first day with our group. They wont give us a credit or anything. Highly upset!

Like many, we fell for the excitement of travel and cultural experience in sending our daughter on a European educational tour. That was a $750 mistake. First -- the "mandatory" travel insurance is a complete rip off. You or your student need to be dead or dying before...Read more
I signed up for a trip to go to England, France, Switzerland, and Germany. My plans ended up falling through and I couldn't go. I cancelled the trip and I wanted a refund of all of my money. They just told me that the cancellation fee was $500? Why the *** is it so...Read more

I echo what so many others have said about EF Tours. I specifically asked at the recruitment meeting what the refund policy was. I pointed out that signing a 17 year old up for a trip 14 months in advance there are significantly high odds in this generation of FOMO...Read more
I was told that if I called by the "end of Nov 2016 beginning of Dec 2016 I would get my payment of $1300 refunded less $199 non redfundable deposit and $89 a late fee charge. My husband and I were OK with that. When we called at the end of November the person who...Read more
I registered my son and I to go on a tour in June 2017. Three weeks after enrolling, our circumstances changed so I called to cancel, expecting to pay the $95 cancellation fee x2. I was informed that the cancellation fee would be $550 per person. Rather than lose...Read more
